Police officers are weird thing.

Most people are trained... programmed to believe that they are protecting the community.

But, what they really do would scare most people.
90% of their time they are used to write speeding tickets to collect funds from random people.
Instilling a fear of police, while making everyone feel unsafe about driving.

9% of their time is spent picking up bodies from car crashes or various crime scenes.
Actually, they usually just stand around now while the EMTs and tow trucks do the cleanup.

1% is spent actually protecting the community.
Crimes aren't solved.
50% of homicides aren't even investigated.

Mostly by chance, do they catch a thief with a car full of stolen goods.

In the end, all they do is put the screws to someone to get them to confess and name all their friends as conspirators.
