Well, we were warned not to kick the tiger...

But the witnesses kicked the tiger...

BUT!!!

would going back in time, and stopping the Soft Fork change anything?

Does a tiger change its stripes?

Mr. Tron thought he bought control, and then, when removed took control through other means at his disposal.

So, Mr. Tron needed to have control, and the best that witnesses could have done is play nice while appearing to give him control. Only works for so long.

BUT!!!!

On a block-chain designed to be censorship resistant, there are not many of us who would have used that censorship to silence Mr. Tron. Not even if he was being truly evil. It just wouldn't enter our thoughts.

However, Mr. Tron did it without much thought.
He probably learned about the censoring ability on steemit, and in the next second said, "Use it!"

So

a tiger doesn't change its stripes.
i believe we have achieved the best possible outcome.
If we waited to implement SF 22.3, we would have found ourselves in an insurmountable space.

SF 22.3 provided time to really see Mr. Tron's mechinations.
And then STEEM rallied to outvote, everyone saw the fight, and got fired up to fight.

And thus, HIVE was born. But without Mr. Tron playing such an excellent villian, we probably would have just accepted another crappy Dan -> Ned -> Sun hard fork.
