Never need a fire truck...

Back when i was young, we used to have firebreaks all over the mountainsides, so any fire "wild" would be contained.

Today, in housing the popular thing is concrete board siding (almost unburnable) and steel roofs. With a little more preparation, you would never need a firetruck for your house.

It really urks me when the fire marshal comes out and its all, clear this, or you will be fined. Bane of my existence, especially since they do not have a clear understanding of how fires happen. You can't reason with someone who thinks they know everything.

Lately, i have been thinking it would be a good thing if the firetruck went away.
