Fortunately for me, i read a book long ago that had a different theory about ice-ages.

When it is cold, there isn't much rain. In order to form huge glaciers, you need a lot of rain. So an ice-age needs to start off with a hot event.

Thus, i recognized what i was seeing when Al Gore created that movie, Inconvenient LIes.

We are entering an ice-age.
And the Grand Solar Minimum people have gotten their predictions right every year so far.
And the CO2 is causing global warming people have been wrong every year.

And about getting off of oil. It is a power thing, a control thing. If you had your own back yard generator that ran off of cow shit, then they can't control you. Thus, such things are kept out of the news. Zoning regulations are created so you can't have one in "your" back yard, etc.
