Everything the state does, crypto can theoretically do it better.

i believe you meant that everything that we think the state should be doing, it can do a lot better.

However, we both know the state is not doing what it says its doing.
And this is the part where we, the people, need to have a plug we can pull.

Of course, the ruling elite would love to adopt crypto... their crypto.
Then EVERY transaction can be taxed effortlessly and painlessly.

its like the DMV.
All it is supposed to be is a list of who is qualified to drive, and which car belongs to which person.

However, what it is is a tracking operation of people's for the govern-cement.

What it is, is the largest owner of cars.
Registration means that you are giving your car to the govern-cement
in exchange, they give you exclusive use of that car.

Soooo, the DMV is taking possession of your car, thus police can impound "your" (their) car without being sued for theft. However, the DMV is doing a very poor job of keeping you as the exclusive user of that vehicle.

Lo-Jack, a private company has done a far better job of that.

And, as @edicted has said, the block chain can do the actual job of the DMV far easier, cheaper and better.
