This is something i learned to late in life.

Lets say a woman wants a mechanic and there are two.

1. A charismatic guy who is very good at dropping all the buzzwords (but any guy could look at his garage and see that nothing real happens there)
2. A guy who is not so good at communicating, stutters, is covered in grease.

The woman will choose #1 every time.
It is because she has no knowledge of cars, so she just chooses the guy who sounds like he is the most confident.

And so it goes with choosing men to date.
She can't tell who will be the good men who will provide and be good fathers, she just goes by who sounds the most confident.

So, i had the good job, the good house, the nice car... and women would listen to me for 15 seconds, and swipe next.

It really is because women seem to not have the ability to actually see a person's ability, so they have to go off of other information.
