Women only ask this question because they do not want to be caught asking what they really want to know directly.

But women want to know exactly how much money you make, to have an idea of how much money/support they can get out of you.

So, the various deflects you see around the internet, to avoid being a human doing, don't really work. They often shut down the interaction. Because she needs to know if you are a good catch. And 90%+ of women that equates to a dollar amount.

Also, indirectly they are asking about your social status.

I find these kinds of questions hard to answer, because i do not fit into any of their preconceived boxes. Women, it seems, hate entrepreneurs.
