Here is an interesting failure in kitchen utensil progress.
If you look on the walls of old-timey restaurants you will see things like cast iron apple peelers and such.
Soooo, where is our modern day apple peeler? Its should be an attachment you put on your mixer or your cuisinart.
What happened is that large canning factories opened up and did all the canning. You could just buy it at the store.
And so, tons of garden produce rots because no one knows what to do with it / can it.
I have an idea to make a applesauce cannery and mount it on a trailer.
Thus, you could rent/borrow it and drag it to all the neighbors back yard apple trees.
