Well, two pieces:

1. There is a hierarchy to rights and privileges

2. Limiting speech does not protect against all the woes of "free speech".

The right to life is higher than
the right to free speech.

If you break a higher right, by expressing a lower right, you are in the wrong.

Next, defamation and "fake news" happen all the time.
Most often by the group that most people trust the most, the MSM.

What is actually needed is a internet-organizing method that shows the different sides of the argument.

I mean, looking up "Bill Cosby Rape" should return stories:

• the women's side of the story
• Bill Cosby's side of the story
• rebuttals against both
• the culture of the 80s Hollywood that created this story.

But, if you look for these, it is very difficult to find one side or the other. No, really, Goolag returns different results whether you are an R or a D.

So, you cannot stop defamation. However, the rebuttal should be incredibly easy to find.

Next, about copyright... well, once we went digital it has become wholly meaningless. Again, the internet should work at getting the viewer to the original creator. Because, the viewer, if they like it, will usually want more.

But, there is a force against these things, and i am beginning to believe it is Goolag themselves.
