Atheists / Modern Materialistic Science have made compartments where none exist.
They believe thought happens in the brain. Although there are a lot of neurons around the heart and the belly, they do not think that any thought happens there.
The biggest compartment/divide they made is between Physics and Metaphysics. (It really only means this is the area of priests, and this is the area of scientists, so they wouldn't war.) However, there is no separation. It is a continuous spectrum, from the physical to the spiritual. Our bodies themselves have seven layers.
It is the heart, where we will find accurate knowing.
The brain can be fooled. The brain can fool itself. The brain cannot be trusted for knowing the truth.
Look at Modern Materialistic Science. It's all logical. And so people think that it is factual. But it isn't. Any error in assumptions and the entire structure can be wrong. Not to mention it is easy to make a slip in logic. And we will find that our modern science is full of holes.
Doctors know next to nothing
I just said the body has seven layers, and doctors only treat one of them. (the physical layer) They begrudgingly admit that emotions have a deep impact on healing. (the emotion layer) There are 5 more major layers You could say that doctors treat 1/7th of the body, and call themselves knowledgeable.
We really need to get over ourselves. Thinking that only what we can see and touch is real. Even though we have so much evidence of more being real, those who are ruled by their heads, discount everything. Throw away piles of evidence, because they shout "it's not real!"
Well, it is real. And ignoring it doesn't make it go away.
Cancers is VERY easy to heal, if you go to the emotional layer and heal the problems (like stuffing. The one with cancer, has taken a certain emotion and stuffed it. Stuffed it all their life. And it starts to become physical until it breaks out into the physical layer. If you stop the stuffing, by healing the emotions that are the basis of it, and teach the patient to deal with the emotions as they appear (instead of stuffing) then the cancer will almost go away on its own. After the stuffing stops, any cancer cure will work, even the dreaded radiation treatments.
So, we need to learn about all seven layers of the body. Else, we are just like those doctors who never knew about germs.
Gnosis - direct knowing
The Modern Materialistic Scientists believe that to test a theory, they have to create the theory, and then create a test for it, AND THEN see if it passes. And if it passes, they know nothing. Only if it fails, can they say the theory was wrong.
Imagine coming up with this logic. It is like the ultimate in keeping people from knowing anything. It is like trying to learn the world while wearing a blindfold and wearing oven mitts.
The Gnostics left us a lot of teachings, and we will learn even more, just by listening to our hearts. We can learn about the universe by directly experiencing it. The heart knows.
The brain says consciousness is just neurons firing. The heart says you are consciousness, and the body is just a container.
The brain goes in circles
The brain's logic goes in circles. Circular reasoning is everywhere in the sciences. Even in theology.
Take the question about whether God exists.
There are so many "proofs of God" that go round in circles. And disproofs that go around in circles.
Such as
"God," says Epicurus, "either wants to remove evils, but cannot; or he can, but does not want to;
or he does not want to and cannot; or he wants to and can.
If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent; which is inadmissible in God.
If he can, but does not want to, he is envious; which is also alien to God.
If he does not want to and cannot, then he is envious and impotent; and this too cannot be attributed to God.
If he wants to and can, which alone is proper to God, then where do evils come from? Or why does he not remove them?

What this treatise misses is free will. God allows Earthlings to choose to allow evil to exist. And God so loves his children, that he does not interfere in their play.
What do these two sentences do to Epicurus' treatise? It totally guts it. All that beautiful logic, all that sound thinking, and because of a simple oversight, it is all bunk.
And why do this, when any person can learn to get in touch with God, and then they can KNOW God themselves.
In logical terms, God cannot be proven, nor disproven. God is either everywhere, or nowhere. And since you cannot separate out God, there can be no proof.
Despite the atheists shouting about logic, and knowledge, most of the planet believes in a higher power.
Isn't it interesting that we haven't seen Modern Materialistic Science go and actually study Buddhism? There are two outcomes from people who do this: The person just watches with logical reasoning, and just finds many koens that seem illogical and makes their head spin. These people leave preaching that they have disproven Buddhism.
Then there are the people who meditate and expand their mind to include many things that are outside of science. These people are blackballed after they come back, and the ivory tower hears of their exploits. Worse, they are ridiculed. But, this is the way Modern Materialistic Science maintains its hold on the world. Let know one think outside the box. Even though they say, "You need to learn to think outside the box"
Buddhist monasteries have many books that have never been translated. Many books that speak of science from thousands of years ago. And, Modern Materialistic Science laughs at them for being backwards, and unscientific. Unfortunately, for them, the reverse is true.
