#Build-it is a community, born out of the need to empower and strengthen DIY (do it yourself) projects, How-to tutorials and life hacks. Among many others, Build-it.io was set up as a means to encourage and reward high-quality DIY and How-to projects.

Our curation account on Build-it.io known as build-it.curator@build-it.curator is fully powered with BUILD tokens (approximately 90k build power) ready to reward all valid entries.

The Daily Build

dailynewsletter5

Without a doubt, we're in awe of how active and fertile the steem platform is, in less than a month, we've had hundreds of users using our tags, and over 200 accounts holding our Build token on Steem engine. It is for this reason we've designed The Daily Build --- It will serve as a daily bulletin of manually curated articles and projects that use our recommended tags: #diy, #build-it, #how-to, #doityourself, #build.

Harvest.png

Our Little Homestead Helper and I harvested the seeds from the sunflowers she helped me plant earlier in the spring. We plan on baking some of them (she wants them to be ranch flavored) and saving the rest to plant next spring.

Our wisteria is getting settled

it grew well over the summer and now it's been in for a couple of years, it's time to start guiding it up and across the wall. You can see that the leaves have just started to turn this week. The virginia creeper is a very bright red in contrast and suddenly after a summer where it felt like the garden just looked like different shades of green plus some brickwork, there's a range of colours showing up. And in the rain we've had over the last few days, the reds and yellows have appeared even more vibrant.

Learning Python the basics

Python reads like plain English! This is something I can especially appreciate with a side-by-side. Take a look and, without worrying about what these code bits actually do, think about which is harder to read:
