The edge effect, which is a term related to the science of ecology, can be adapted very well to the human. The edge effect tells us briefly about the fact that life and productivity are enriched and diversified at the edges or boundaries that differentiate between different environments.

In one of his books on this subject, he mentions that the seed thrown into the soil grew from the thin edge layer which separates the air and the soil to both environments and thus the necessary conditions for its development were obtained by taking the necessary nutrients from the soil and the required gases and sunlight from the air.

It also emphasizes the importance of edge effect, which is the source of innovation and diversity, in terms of human communities and thought. In another example, which he mentions in the same book, he presents the edge effect as the reason for having a diversity of plants and animals biologically between Asia and Europe. This is the cultural way.

Since the ancient times, the cradle of civilizations is an edge in the cultural sense and it is possible to see this richness in many areas from tradition to food culture.
