I started with the semi-numismatics and now have shifted toward weight. My sweet spot is probably generic coins and bars because what's stamped on them is a form a quality / purity assurance from an accredited producer.
Better than a blob of hand poured silver that might be 9999 or it might be more like sterling or junk silver. That said, I do like funky hand pours for their uniqueness.
