The Initial Token Sale for PRECIOUS is over and the Airdrop has been running smoothly now for over 5 weeks. At time of this post there has been 5,454 PRECIOUS Tokens distributed so far and we’ve seen no real selling pressure on the token price which is a really good sign that people are happy to hold the PRECIOUS Token and show their support for the 
The Rich List has been a topic of conversation amongst SGS Members and with 41 accounts now on the Rich List it’s a good whos-who of the SGS Members who have been producing great content that has qualified them for the Airdrop. At current pace of distribution there is about 350 – 370 PRECIOUS Tokens being airdropped per week and while this is likely to continue for the short term there is a point in the not-too-distant future where the Airdrop will start to scale back it’s distribution rate. While the Airdrop lasts at full pace though it’s a really good time to be producing content for the SGS Community Curation Project so keep up the great work everyone!
As for the Use Cases of the PRECIOUS Token, there are some ideas in the works but we’re about to realize the first of them with the upcoming SGS Monster Raffle. The raffle will soon be selling tickets for HIVE but we will ALSO be accepting PRECIOUS Tokens. What this means is that the PRECIOUS Token will effectively receive some value “Backing” via the Monster Raffle ticket sales and this should go some way to ensuring that the token retains a minimum value of at least 0.1 HIVE each going forward.
Other uses for the PRECIOUS Token will be developed and revealed in time but for now the main focus for SGS is on the upcoming Monster Raffle fundraiser. I thought that it was a good time to provide an update on the Airdrop and give people the heads up that we will be accepting PRECIOUS Tokens as payment for the raffle tickets. I’m not sure how many people will be willing to part with their hard earned PRECIOUS Tokens to buy raffle tickets, but it’s good for everyone to know that at least there is that option.
