It’s been almost a month since our big fundraiser here at Silver Gold Stackers and while it’s business as usual for our great content creators, we’ve been working behind the scenes to try and put those fresh funds to good use by beefing up the Hive Power of our Community Curation Project. Not long ago we reached 325K Hive Power which is an increase of over 50% from where we were just a month ago. This is thanks to some of our awesome members getting on board with the project to lease some Hive Power and a few outsiders seeing the great value our 13.5% APR Delegation Payments really are.
We are still a little bit short of our target, which I nominated at about 350K Hive Power but I am confident that we will hit that in the next few weeks. The funds raised need to last us for at least the next 6 months when we had hoped to do another big fundraiser to keep our Hive Power elevated, but nothing is locked in yet.
I’ve put some of the Powered Down funds into HBD Savings so that they can remain relatively liquid but still earn some yield for the community account until they are needed to maintain the leases. I expect that the powered up HIVE on the 
So far we’ve had no problem getting power from DLease at the rates we are offering but we are putting 13 weeks of payments into escrow to secure those leases. Due to the cashflow situation this means we should be able add about 5000 to 10,000 Hive Power via DLease each week.
Hopefully our SGS members are realizing the benefits of this boost to our Curation Project. The 100% upvote from our Precious has recently cracked the $4 USD mark so that value is slowly being trickled back to our content creators. In short – Everything is going well. Stack ON!
