For any serious stacker of physical precious metals it’s important to have access to good, reliable secondary marketplaces. Not just to buy more metal, but when it comes to selling you usually want to get a better price than the local bullion dealer will offer because more often than not that dealer is probably going to just lowball you with an offer to buy at “melt” price. Without going too heavily into the reasons for the sites creation, it is relatively new but the stackers behind it have been around in the Australian stacker scene for a long while. I have interacted with many of them since 2014 (when I first started stacking) and I can personally vouch for more than a few of these guys. This new site is a marketplace but also a general forum where a lot of stacker related topics can be discussed openly. In a time of heavy censorship of many sites, this new Silveroos site does have an emphasis on letting members enjoy free speech on a wide range of topics.
If you check it out you will see me there engaging in some discussions so if you need any pointers then you can DM me directly on the site. It might take a little while for the site to build up its membership, but knowing the key guys involved they know what they are doing and it almost certainly will grow from here. So if you want to support the Australian stacker scene then get involved. Make an account, introduce yourself and you might just learn something or find a stacker nearby who you can trade with.
