RE: The October Yips : Rastani Turns Bearish
With recent events as they are I think metals move first too. Cryptos may well be a safe haven of sorts in troubled times but in a real flight to safety the metals have the test of time, hands down.

RE: Fighting the Ministry of Truth in Australia
I could not agree more. I think the whole COVID misinformation thing is a big reason why they are pushing this legislation now.....and also why a lot more people are likely to resist it. Too many are waking

Sage like wisdom from the big D. Nice pickups man. The zombucks would have to be the most awesome series I've seen lately.

Thanks @blingit - I've had concerns about property confiscation in the past, but after recent events I've come to believe that if the government ever tried to do something like that en masse they'd be

RE: Superannuation and Paper Gold
I don't think so, but I'm keen for it. My current super is with INGDirect and they allow me to cherry pick from the ASX300. That's a good amount of options but currently there is nothing there with crypto

Yes, ok. So what do you invest your super / 401k into? I'm not sure what it's called in Canada but pretty sure you have compulsory retirement savings there?

Thanks for sharing your insights from the NW USA. That interactive map really is awesome. I wish we had something like that for our state. It helps to put things into perspective. You have a lot light

Very interesting. These look like ETFs because they are exchange trade-able...but also appear to be fully-allocated and allow for redemptions. We don't have them in Australia. Do you hold these yourself?

Interesting. I did see an article the other day about New York. Have a read of THIS - There is project called Sunrise Wind, is that the one you were referring to?

Yes, rare earths in particular could be massive if China decides to get involved in one of these conflicts. Apparently China accounted for 70% of world mine production of rare earths in 2022...
