How do you know that the financial markets are in trouble? Often there are some tell-tale signs that you can look out for and one of those is when Insiders start selling their OWN stock. The other day news broke that Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan – one of the most influential (and richest) bankers globally who runs one of the worlds most powerful banks – has decided to sell 1 million of his own banks shares. This is the first time he’s sold any of his own banks shares during 18 years in charge....and yes, that period includes the entire Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009 which is the last time the system nearly collapsed.
What does he know that we don’t? The Mainstream News are reporting it like it’s just a bit of sensible diversification and there's “Nothing to see here” but if you are someone that knows what bullshit looks and smells like, there is something more going on here. Maybe he can see the writing on the wall with Central Bank Digital Currencies on the way, or maybe he sees an expansion of the recent Banking Crisis that once again threatens to bring the whole system down? We can only speculate of course, but regardless of your theory this move is clearly a big fat Red Flag for investors of the Legacy Financial System.
It will be interesting to see if any other big influential bankers are also going to start selling their own shares. Of course they don’t want to create a panic, so I wouldn’t expect it to be widely reported but guys like this always make sure they have a Golden Parachute ready for when it’s time to bail out. We have to seriously consider whether this is what we’re seeing here from Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan.
Of course there isn’t much we can do about it, but if there is some big problems looming in the banking system then you don’t want to be holding your wealth in any dodgy institutions. To me it looks like a really good time to be holding Physical Gold and Silver to insulate yourself from any Systemic Risk. News like this is just confirming my bias and if you’re like me you’ll be stacking your metals accordingly.
