Being stuck on a deserted island comes with a lot of challenges that will likely affect my mindset. So I will be looking for something that would shed a little light and keep the spark of hope alive. That being said, I don’t ever pray to be in that sort of situation.
Anyways since this hypothetical island is filled with basic amenities the only problem here is loneliness. I’ve gotten good with being alone as I am mostly alone, especially these past few months. Movies and music were my company in those lonely hours. So, I’ll pick one movie for this topic.
If I were to see a movie continually during my stay on this hypothetical island it will be none other than High School Musical. I caught you all by surprise right?, well there’s no way I’ll choose to see a movie that would instill fear or tension. I’d rather opt for a music-filled movie with a lot of love and emotions.
High School Musical brings that to me, I think I saw the different parts more than thrice for each one. Love is something that doesn’t get old, so seeing a movie that inspires love which is a carrier of hope is what I would want in those times there.

Also, there are a lot of good memories associated with this movie. I saw this movie then with my cousins and I can still remember them singing some of the songs. I was not the type with a good voice so I just hummed along haha.
I can just imagine myself snacking myself to this movie and also dancing away, both the crazy dances and those soft blues that were the forerunner of the movie.
Since there is food in excess that would last until I am rescued. I won’t get tired of seeing the movie and then I will challenge myself to learn every song in the movie and sing it to perfection.
Watching this movie over and over would help me look on the bright side, it will also keep me in a good mood rather than a deplorable one.
I guess after my stay on the island, singing would be my second hubby haha, don’t ask me for the first haha. I think singing does a lot for us humans, it inspires and motivates us. This is another reason for me picking this movie as it would be my source of inspiration and motivation.
I would want to look like the hot high school guys in this movie hence, I’ll plunge myself into a workout routine while I await help. I would make use of the water I’m surrounded by and get the best out of myself all because of this movie.
Being stuck won’t be easy for anyone, same for me but with a little motivation each day would pass by easily and the fun and love portrayed in this movie would resonate with me.
