Making it out to the open waters
This is the weekly update post for BuddyUP where we share the weekly goings on and the plans for our future. Each week we try to make necessary changes to our server/account so that we're constantly evolving and moving forward. You can stop by to the post every Sunday to catch up with our progress, or to find out about more opportunities over at BuddyUP.
This week we've been finishing the rest of our embedded messages, adding a community/curation channel and also creating various graphics for our token drops. We've also been talking amongst ourselves about the introduction of a new show!

Our first new addition to share with you all is a work-in-progress. We've been working on a new channel in the server which highlights different communities that we are friends with.
This channel is going to be paired up in the new curation category alongside a 'curators hangout'. The channel category is going to be dedicated to curators, and in time, we will be reintroducing our Finder Frog role as a way to highlight the curators from other teams and our server. Some people are writers, some are curators. We are going to make sure everybody has somewhere to strive.

That's right, we are going to be releasing our first lot of tokens very soon. We are planning to get everything ready to go for the 15th of June and then we will be spreading the word and shifting gears to promoting and looking for future members of BuddyUP.
As many of you know, we have had our token live for a couple of months now. We have already been rewarding our members with BUDDYUP tokens for their activity in the server and so far, so good. There's a system, activity, and consistent members who are earning their stake one week at a time.
Now it's time to open the doors, to give people the opportunity to get in on the ground floor.
What's the catch? It's whitelist only.
We are serious about our community and our whitelist is staying. We are more than willing to pay the fees to add you guys to it because we don't want disingenuous sharks jumping into our waters and destroying our value. Slow steady growth is 100X more valuable than fast, unhealthy, unscalable growth.
Don't cut corners, don't compromise.
Speaking of tokens... we are still searching for a dedicated writer for our Drop in the Ocean post, and starting from next week, our staff roles will be earning weekly tokens for their efforts. The BuddyUP account and server is not a one-man job.

Well, that was a little more brief than usual. We've got a lot more coming up in the next few weeks, so I'll hold back from giving away too much. All I can say is, it's going to be exciting!
