Keep your eyes peeled!
This is happily welcomed by some, who I presume have had the time to read what the different channels/roles are about, but some people don't have the time to sit down and go over our start-swimming and fish-of-the-sea channels.
For those of you who don't know already, these two channels act as our manuals for the server. They should have everything you need to know within them.
The solution, for the people who don't have the time when they first join, is the new quick-start channel. This has a basic guideline for the different roles in the channel. I'd like to highlight that this isn't us forcing you to do anything. If you want to move up through the roles on the server, you can follow these basic guidelines to show us that you're willing to get involved with the features.
As you may already know, once you show that you are willing to get involved, you'll rank up and gain more features and channels to visit.

I'm going to take the time here to let you know what is in the works over at BuddyUP and what we have coming up in the next week. You will be able to see more regular announcements in the updates channel on the server.
We believe and express, that 'everyone has a voice'. We can tell from the way some of you write, that you are amazing characters. This is fantastic and it's great to know that we already have people in the community who are active, engaging and happy to share what they think.
After talks with various other members though, I feel like it's time we all hop on voice chat and introduce who we are! Hopefully, this will let us understand each other a bit better and we can all share what we think a lot easier.
No pressure and no requirements for everybody to do this, just those of you who are wanting to get even more involved in the community. In time, we will get ourselves a curation show set up so you can all show off what great content you've been creating.
As I said before, the server can be overwhelming and you might be totally lost when you first arrive. I have a solution which I think will cheer you up.
My plan is to get a separate voice chat set up for those of you who want to jump in and discuss any issues you're having with the server or its features. I'll be able to explain the setup a lot easier to some of you this way and I hope it'll help out anyone who is feeling a bit overwhelmed.
We are here to help, all you have to do is ask.
As always, it's great to see you all within the community. Over the past few days, we have had a handful of new people join the server which is very exciting, it's brilliant to get to know more of you.
Keep on putting in the effort, carry on encouraging those around you and keep your eyes peeled for further updates.
