Welcome to this weeks Drop in the Ocean roundup, bringing you all the great posts shared on Mondays show.
Our Drop in the Ocean topic for the week was Discovery, a broad topic with many possibilities which in itself can be quite the deterrent.
Fortunately, this was not the case for our members as we have a few great posts on the topic to share with you today. Lending to some great conversation that took place on Mondays Drop in the Ocean, it is still very apparent that the topic of discovery spans further than we can fully comprehend. From the most minute details in our daily lives to the future hope of humanity.

The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has levelled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. Our member @Shadowspub has become a regular contributor to Drop in the Ocean and this week she has brought something to the table which has secured her the top spot. Bringing her exceptional writing and fresh perspective to the topics at hand, she has proven to be a brilliant addition to our Monday show.
This week is no different, where she reminds us that we are constantly discovering things whether we take note of them or not.
Discovery starts pretty much the moment I open my eyes in the morning.
Her post is sure to have you thinking about the now, considering the constant voyage of discovery we are travelling as living beings.
If it is daylight, I next get to discover what the day is looking like. There is a window above my kitchen sink. As I’m getting water for my coffee I look out and often discover birds flitting from tree to tree.

Opening the posts with a few other topics that fall under the banner of discovery, @TheHive notes science as one of the topics their post could be about, but admits that there would just be too much to cover.
The vastness of this topic itself is overpowering.
Sharing their view on the topic of discovery in general, they share their opinion on what is considered discovery.
Although something may have been discovered by someone else, it does not mean it can not be discovered by you personally.
Countless others have performed this task before me. It was still a new discovery to me.
We are constantly re-discovering things as human beings, but on a personal level, it is a new discovery whether it has been made consciously or not. These constant re-discoveries help each of us grow and will always be a new discovery to us since we do not discover things in the same way; or even at the same time.

Discovery on any level is an achievement, and whether your friend says they already knew that, do not let it bring you down because the fact is now you know it also.
From the small to the big, on a grand scale or right on your desk discovery is there for us all to experience, maybe you need to be a bit more mindful or take a risk, you might not find a cure but you might just find a new perspective.
