BJP-Shiv Sena pact for Lok Sabha polls on course
If a senior BJP cabinet member is to be believed, both parties agreed to stick to the 2014 formula for the LS polls. BJP had then contested 26 of the total 48 seats, and Sena 22. However, there seemed to be no consensus and the meeting had to be adjourned.

Centre mulls law to check arbitrary school-fee hikes
The Centre is also looking at provisions to de-recognise schools for three violations. Fees charged by schools in the 2015-16 academic year have been taken as the base for implementation of the regulations. These regulations will apply to schools that charge more than Rs 20,000 per annum as fees.

Karnataka: Congress plans to 'rotate' ministers
