This reminded me of the quote (unfortunately I don't remember where I heard it) that wealth is what you don't see - if you blew it all on a fancy car or watch then you wouldn't have nearly as much left!

Good on you for putting off getting a car for as long as possible, that is what I did myself and my stock portfolio is that much better off for it. Anyone who doesn't get that can go and shove it, as far as I'm concerned 🤣
