A Swap to Convert Hive to Swap.Hive

Following the recent announcement of the bswap DEC and SPS bridge, finally it is time to announce Hive to Swap.Hive transfer service of bswap. This simple service started a while back as a discord bot written by

@reazuliqbal and then quietly evolved into a web interface a while back.

The tool have been running from August 2021. The only reason we never announced it because there is never enough liquidity of Hive-Swap.Hive. This is simply because there is more demand for the swap service than the supply that we can provide.

How to Use

Go to the swap interface at https://bswap.cc/

The tool will automatically pick up your hive wallet balance both on hive and hive-engine side

Check available balances (liquidity) on the bridge (refreshes automatically).

Enter the amount of Hive you want to convert to Swap.Hive or vice-versa and click 'convert' button

There is a 0.25% conversion fee

There is a 1 Hive minimum for transaction. The maximum is based on the liquidity available at the tool.

If you try and swap more than the liqudity available, the tool returns the amount automatically. However, it is still better to check the amount available and transfer less than the available liqudity.

At the time of this writing the tool shows about 59K Swap.Hive liquidity and about 0.34 Hive liquidity. The way to read this is if you like to conver Hive to Swap.Hive, the max amount of Hive you can convert is about 59K Hive (you will receive 59K Swap.Hive at your Hive Engine wallet), but the max amount of Swap.Hive that you can converts is only about 0.34 Hive (it is below minimum!). As you understand just like similar swap services available to the Hive blockchain, the liquidity is often scarce and lopsided.
