I tried to summarize as much as possible from our speakers today that included Aggy (aggroed) and Nate (nateaguila)! I may not have covered everything, but I think I covered some pretty important topics covered.
In addition, check out the "Interesting Remarks" section at the very bottom of this post for some very cool information in regards to some sneak peeks!
Chaos Legion:
Pre-sale = September
Actual Release = October
Aggy feels strongly about keeping price at $2, but still TBD
SPS Points For Land:
May changed depending on rarity - TBD still
Splinterlands Scalability:
Big priority, always looking to improve
Adjust Dice Packs Price In-Game:
SPS Proposal!
Still around 4k Dice being sold per day
Marketcap:
Team is working on getting this updated soon
SPS For Spellbooks?
Waiting for stability before looking into this option
Tournament Times:
Will rotate times eventually (another month out)
Next tournaments will include SPS payouts
SPS For Pre-Sale:
Airdrops will continue for Chaos Legion
No discounts probably
Still undetermined right now
KYC:
Required, not something the team could avoid
Thousands of dollars of fraudulent transactions a day
SPS For Team:
Some tokens were unlocked for the team to do whatever they want (check Whitepaper)
Have tokens to handout to expand team
SPS Burn Mechanism?
Most likely will add in the future - TBD
Currently burn DEC already, so SPS burn will most likely be implemented
Staking is about to start, should reduce liquidity potentially
Land Claims:
Still delayed, big priority when they get to it
Still no plans on releasing anymore land in the future
Lands Functionality:
Everything will have a cap based on building levels
Release other games, they may separate lands?
DEC Tokenomics:
Designed to be a stable coin, but market decides the price
Historically, new card editions have pushed the price down, but Chaos may be different?
Ranked Play SPS Rewards:
May not be out by Monday, August 2nd - high priority though
Same distribution mechanics as DEC
Team Staking:
Aggy staking a bunch, but put most his stash in Liquidity Pools
Others are free to do what they want
Staking in LP:
LP have their own reward pools - longer period of time
Main reason is for bots that tend to surrender to each other a lot
No plans on changing current logic
Other Exchange Listings:
Currently working on other applications for listings
Team has exchanges contacting them too
When Binance?
Team doesn't know, but the community can help!
Be nice and respectful if reaching out
Updating Affiliate System?
Potentially moving affiliate system away from 5% rebate to an exclusive card instead
Not major roadmap issue right now though
Lower Airdrop Over Time?
Airdrop points will likely go up on a daily basis, but not guaranteed due to Dice purchases and DEC burn
SPS To Buy Cards?
Probably won't be a separate market for SPS to buy cards
Have to exchange SPS for DEC
Changes To Potions?
No plans on changing anything in regards to potions
Title Benefits
Bigger, more rare titles will probably have bigger benefits
Benefits are still TBD (but last AMA they mentioned having land utility)
Interesting Remarks From Aggy
馃Highest grossing revenue months even though the team has no product to sale!馃
Aggy called us crazy monsters!!!
Splinterlands physical collectibles in the near future?
Dice 2.0 Leak!!!
New Name: Rift Watchers
New UI employee soon to make tournaments mobile friendly!
Lands 馃馃
-- Will have a map view
-- Trying to make land functionality to be quick (shouldn't be a full-time job)
-- Looking into land animations
-- Visualize more of Praetoria (other continents, questing, PvE?)
Monster Animations 馃槏馃槏
