Coming off how much I enjoyed the first 6 issue compilation, I didn’t love this issue. I still love the concept, art, etc. enough to stay with the series though.

This felt rushed to me, and the “beats” and pacing just felt off. Not enough time to build up to either any really good drama, or really relax in any good humor & character development.

I think you mentioned not liking issue #1 much, but then the series grew on you. #1 was a slow set up, whereas #7 seems to set up the next arc at a frenetic pace. I think I enjoy the slow & measured more!
