I am sorry to hear this. I do not know why people can choose to be this mean. Life is not fair and we as humans are not meant to make life even more difficult for our brothers and sisters.
We are supposed to just go the extra mile and make life easier for those around us, regardless of where they came from or what they do for a living. Everyone deserves respect.
I do hope governments of the world begin to pay more attention to expatriates, both from their host countries and their home countries.
