These are the monochrome versions of two images I photographed a couple of months ago, using a reversed lens.
This technique is somehow common and known as an alternative way to shoot macro. A pain in the butt if you ask me, but the results (when you nail it) are quite good, I must admit it.
The main problem here was to actually get anything in focus.
Besides that, you need to be insanely close to your subject, so shooting moving bugs for example is pure masochism. At least to this noob here anyway.

I decided to try this after seeing few shots from another photographer, using this exact same lens and capturing snow flakes with it like a champ.
He's images are amazingly good and sharp.
Mine are just "artistic".
Let's call it that instead of out of focus, shall we? :p
