[Week 158] My Three Treasures

Since I was very young I had very clear that I wanted to be a mother, in me I think it was something instinctive, so as soon as I had a stable partner, I decided that I would be a mother; from the beginning I was always clear that yes, I would only be a mother when I wanted it, therefore, it was a personal decision before I was completely in a couple. That is how my first daughter was born, who today is 28 years old, my beautiful Portuguese girl, she was my first gift from life, from God; it happened in my first marriage.

Now to have my last two children was something similar, I had them with my second husband. For him they were his first children, for me they were going to be the second child. By the time I met him I already had in mind to be a mother again because my oldest daughter was an only child and even though my ex and I tried to give her another sibling, nature did not want it. So I was left with that feeling of being a mother halfway... having that in mind, when I joined my second husband as a couple, I raised the possibility of being parents quickly, without much waiting and he accepted.

So everything happened naturally and at the same time planned, we had agreed that we would only have one child, since we already had my oldest daughter and the next one, and my beautiful baby girl was born, my beautiful brunette with her little angel face. Everything was going according to plan, we were taking care not to have more babies, but something went wrong and I was pregnant for the third time, at first I was shocked, because this pregnancy was not planned, I did not feel ready after 4 years to change diapers again, besides I was already at an age where it was a somewhat risky pregnancy, but my maternal instinct was stronger and I decided to have my baby. Today he is the tenderness and joy of the house, my only boy, my best decision in life, because my children have been the best of my life, my legacy to this world.
