You're definitely right that rewarding posts based on stake-weighted upvotes is encouraging posters to "preach to the choir", which likely ultimately limits the reach of the platforms (and the value of the tokens). Would be interesting to get a voter set up w/ a nice chunk of Hive or Leo that votes based on total impressions to the post, regardless of whether those readers upvote, have any stake, or indeed are even logged onto Hive. Could help reward those who are posting content that is relevant to a wider audience. Would need to figure out how to prevent abuse, filter out bots, etc.
