In Colorado, winter has started to set in. Snow and much cooler temperatures brings out all the winter activities here and Ice Skating is certainly one of them.
Our local downtown park is usually busy no matter what season it is but, during the winter the city turns a large section of the park into an ice skating rink.
Of course since it's almost Christmas all the trees in the park have been decorated and when you add some holiday music the setting in the park is really fun.
The skating ring has become not only a popular nightlife spot in Colorado Springs but it's also a popular spot for "date night" for young people.
