Needlework today just for the dogs.
Dogs and beds are like really important. Our dogs are hunters, they need many exersise every day. They run and swim and to rest and dry we have cussions outside for them to sleep on.
They first were pink. Big cussions but pink was because I had the fabric but this year I wanted the pink to be gone. So I went out and bought 5 cheap fleece blankets at the euro shop.
I folded them in half and sewed them along two sides and left the top hem open.
The sewing machine and the needles needed were taken from the attic and it was done in half an hour. All 5 new covers were made.
Here you see that they lay on a chair and the pink cusssion is still there when he is Hannah lay on it.
Wait sweet Joey new ones are coming.
The cheap fleece is easy to use as a cover and are machine washable. And cheap for when I want another color maybe.
You see that the back of the chair is covered to because they are long.
Its also possible to fold the open side where you put the pillow in to fold back in side so it’s closed. Here I draped it over the back of the chair.
So the end result pictures pink out , grey is in and I like it. 10 euros, 30 minutes and the dogs and the sewer are happy with the endresult.
