When my father in law died he left us his collection miniature cars. Today I want to share one of them, before I put it away to keep it for one of our boys. And maybe I will share the others up close as well. They are very beautiful. Old timers but also antiques and vintage things are thing I began to appreciate more when I got a bit older. These have sentimental feelings for hubby because they were his dads!
What kinda car is it?
It’s the MG TC, from 1948 by the company Franklin Mint presision models. He was a collector and we hand a few as you can see in the pictures at the end. The cars all come with an certificate and papers from the company.
There were also two books and I kept them together. They go hand in hand and tell all. My FIL loved cars and even had some miniatures from the cars he had driven during his working life.
I started this blog wanted to share some details and technical information but just heard the news the British Queen died. Also an icon like the MG.
