The day after I found out that a friend of ours died at 61 years young. Tragic and way to early for god to call another angel if you ask me but as she and I believe, he wouldn’t call her unless there was a higher cause.
As you all who read this don’t know all about every hiver, maybe the next piece needs some explanation. I got my training to be a first responder a few years back, I also blogged about it many times because it’s so nesseccary to be able to help when a life is at stake.
I am part of a team of volunteers and whenever there is a need the closest person on the team gets an alarm to go there. Ofcourse there is always a chance that others already are in action or that you decline the call when you are not available. It’s an personal app with tracking so the dispatcher knows who is closest. That said , taht morning I got a message at 8.01 a.m. and while I raced to the car I saw 4 others closer by , beat me to the call, so I decided to stay put.
Now a day later I am sad. Really sad the friend who got to babysit my two dogs, was the person in cardiac arrest and I know found out that she died. She died !!! The friend who I saw three weeks ago and we promised to come over for a tea in the afternoon on one of my days off. The friend who was healthy, well as far as we know! Now that will have to wait and be a tea in heaven. What a wirlwind , what a shock!

What if ?
In the first responder team course we learn not to say what if, we learn to do the things we learn in our training and do the best to lour abilities and know how. Because without us the person in critical care would never survive, with us by her of his side there is ALWAYS a chance! That said , I feel sad and also do ask and think of the WHAT IF’s in this life.
Than hubby comes up and says the exact right time and gives me a hug.
Live life to the max, and love life like it’s the last one you have.
