Picture’s looks familiar? It’s because I posted these pics once in my introductory post, I had my user name printed in it and made a steemit emblem out of CD on the other (basically I made crafts out of dump, simply recycling). So what’s the point? hmmm I’m posting this once again because I want to point out that recycling is important in today's human life. There are lots of dump we see everywhere but the truth is most of the waste or dump from other people is very useful for others if recycled.
What is recycling by the way? According to Wikipedia, it is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. (Source/Wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recycling)
In early ages of human life, making something out of dump or waste is already there. It’s our creative mind that gives us the idea to make crafts out of dump. When we recycle waste materials it is converted into new and useful product. We can make beautiful and useful art and crafts from waste materials. We can help reduce the need of extracting or making raw materials for a specific product, we can also conserve energy and conserve resources, so in other hand we can also help protect the environment through recycling. Recycling promotes culture and it’s also worth mentioning that some people are earning money out of their recycled products.
It is very important to teach the people especially young ones about recycling because nowadays children’s are overtaken by technology, most of them have their own mobile phones, consoles and even laptops. They will surely miss the fun and importance of basic or low profile lifestyle and create something of their own (craft).
