I'm starting to think that there will be a major split. Some or maybe many will want to stay in the current system. They have a lot invested there. I am hoping we can entice more people over to blockchain , because what people need is a feasible way to cooperate together. There are so many who the current system not only doesn't represent, but completely and utterly fails. All those people need a way to cooperate together and build a system that works for them (us).
