If you don't know what I do day to day, which I imagine many of you don't, I work with robotic hot glue machinery for industrial and comercial applications. My task today was to retrofit this old carton errector that held this just as ancient Nordson glue machine.
I ran into problems shortly after trying to remove the old unit. The electrical connectors were rusted on and buried beneath a mess of wires and circuit boards. This machine was not designed well. After wrestling with this thing for about an hour I managed to break it free.
This is how sexy I got to dress for the occassion of contracting at a meat packaging plant.
Now, it was on to installing this beauty!
The new and improved machine with a touch screen and an automated feeder. No more hand feeding the tank with glue pellets. Made by the Swiss, so you know it's nice!
