I see my follow entrepreneur sometimes violate this without knowing what they have done.Commercial relationship between buyers and sellers is contractual. The general attitude is that a buyer will have himself to blame if he made a wrong judgement and so the saying"Caveat Emptor" meaning let buyers beware. This brings me to explaining the topic 'Consumer protection '.
Most people don't understand and do not know what consumer protection is and even consumers don't know that they do hace rights.
Oh yes! They have right.
Consumer protection endeavors to protect the consumer from unscrupulous sellers who try to cheat in various ways by offering defective product,over pricing or using sub-standard measures.
Consumer protection is a protection given to any individual or household that purchase or buys product for personal or household use and discovers it to be sub-standard.If the buyers returns it to the seller it must be accepted and the correct quality given back to him.
Consumer protection is there to protect buyers from being exploited,even though the complexity of certain products makes it difficult to detect faults during buying.
There is need to ensure the right quality of goods and services offered to the consumers. There are government regulations and agencies who helps to see that buyers are not exploited.
Also I will advise sellers to be extremely careful as not to fall victims.
