Before the safety meeting kicked off the day I was looking out of my windshield and dreading working in this all day.

After putting on extra layers, I walked around the yard. Hoping this snow would melt quickly. We warmed up our machines for 30 minutes before getting going.

Still with the weather the way it is we had 200 yards of concrete scheduled. So the show must go on. First the pump truck shows up to get in position for the pour.

Then concrete was not far behind it.

We put insulated covers on the foundations overnight to ensure they were above 40 degrees for the concrete. Then the guys got to work and took care of business.

Just like I expected, when we had finished, here comes the sun and the skies cleared up.

So until next time take care and see y’all on Monday.
