Basically for better or for worse there is a misalignment of expectations especially in the more developed nations. This has caused birth rates to implode in South Korea, Japan, Italy, and also the United States.

The natural order of things have been disrupted through normal interactions, birth control, abortions.....etc.

Men will pattern their game after what works and build off of that. When guys who are athletic, can fix thing, are in the military, and are resourceful results in most of them being invisible still they either give up because it becomes too much work.

Also as time has gone on it is like the guys who are gay or pretending to be women are being able to get closer and interact with more women than actual masculine men. There is evidence to support that birth control is causing women to be more attracted to feminine acting men. So now we have guys acting gay to hang around these women and then maybe pull out that they are bisexual later on when she let her guard down. We have dudes posing as women winning the NCAA women's swimming championship and getting to be in the women's locker room. Dudes pretending to be women to join Sororities. That's their game..... actually being a masculine man wasn't working.

So us telling guys to "man up" and work some dangerous job or join the military isn't resonating with them because they don't actually see that stuff playing out favorably for many people to where suddenly they busted ass at the factory and then they got with a woman who was to their expectations.

It is what it is and so a lot of men that have the ability to relocate where they can actually gain better traction they are going to do so.

To answer your question. It's not particularly women's fault but the game theory behind these more developed nations is driving men and women apart.
