Fossil fuels are so much closer to a useable form. All that pressure and time did A LOT of work for us. I agree the push is either ill informed and not well thought out or another goal all together. Also another thing people have reported online is getting sick from driving electric vehicles. I guess if you think about it a person would be somewhat hit by an electromagnetic field when this thing is operating.
The Amish were early to the punch as far as not wanting to be on the power grid and reliant to this system. A lot of sacrifice to be ready for when things really fall out but they are self sufficient and will likely survive what ever is to come.
Personally I do like some of the concept exotics like the BMW i8 and the Acura NSX.
I'm not fully against the premise of electric for certain applications but the idea that by 2030 all new vehicles would be electric is ridiculous. This simulation is insane and we don't even know who is actually in charge at this point.
