I like the premise of getting energy from geothermal or from the Earth's mantle. Also I do like hydro electric but it can't be everywhere.

It would seem once so many people die suddenly or can't reproduce that we won't need as much power so a lot of the equipment that probably can't pay for itself very well can be utilized because we won't have to pay for it really.....it will just be left abandoned.
