Very good quote by Thomas Jefferson. Great fore sight into what is happening. The replacement workers are flooding in potentially willing to work way harder than the Gen Z kid who has never been kissed. The proposition doesn't look that good for him..... busting his ass working for 2 years to qualify to be an indentured servant for 30+ more years to have something that wouldn't be good enough for the modern woman even if he was 6'3" got jacked and had a chiseled jaw line.
The mortgage thing is very strange and they don't want you assuming or wrapping other people's notes. They want you to start all over and spin your wheels in interest. You have to be crafty and know the laws and what can happen but I was able to pay off the property in Tucson in 8 years essentially. Very rare and had to be ready to pay the notes off if they exercised the Due on Sale clauses.
I'm really surprised more banks haven't rolled out 40 and 50 year note products to "lower the monthly payments"
It's extremely hard to convince people to live below their means, eat right, exercise, pay off debt.....etc. Because it's hard and at the end of the day guess who always wants more. WOMEN. Driven to do everything for women essentially and we see everyone having to raise the bar to attempt to appease women who will never be satisfied. 3 bathrooms weren't enough. Now we need a house with 5 bathrooms and 20 foot ceilings......etc.
We see it the self sufficient stuff in the Amish community and a few other communities. The replacement workers can deal with less for a bit but then they feel like they need more as well and become driven to want more as well.
Let's pretend for one second that a guy had a wife and kids and they were all on the same program. Extremely rare these days. I think the best thing would be for them to geo max potentially in their own country to potentially take advantage of some of the incentives certain states have given to move there if it fits into their lives. West Virginia, Arkansas , Topeka Kansas, Tulsa..... try to get the incentives and buy a property that needs work and you can bust ass and create value there and pay off the property.
Papa Pepper had a deal in Arkansas where he could pay off the property and if a certain amount of improvements were made he wouldn't have any property tax. Everything is paid for and he can live off the land primarily. I like what he has done.
For a single man...... the issue is you can't work any volume at all there and you are even more screwed doing this.
Leads me into my next point. Just yesterday a girl asked me what my credit score is. What a weird question to ask in my opinion. I told her I don't know and I don't care. I own a Bentley all cash. I don't allow other entities to deem me worthy or not. I'm my own bank. Further more that girl isn't equally yoked. She was more over weight than expected unfortunately. Strange that she would be attempting to qualify me like that but again it really goes to show you they get strange ideas in their heads. I consider this girl a lot smarter than most. She recently "bought" a house and the circumstances I have essentially seen before. Basically she couldn't qualify for it and didn't have the bread to make the down payment so her dad qualified and made the down payment but then she sort of flexes it like she "bought" a house so young. Then sort of thinks she is boss and then is asking me questions like what is my credit score. These women play themselves out of the game. ...... So to reiterate..... Olympus has fallen.
