All the cool whip containers without a lid can hopefully be used as a miniature pot in the future for Tomato 🍅 and sunflower 🌻 starts.
Most of the assets will go back to the state for sure. Most Boomers want to teach the value of a dollar and by the time it would have generally made sense to sign the properties over to the younger generation they won't really have the cognitive function to do so. The result will be nursing homes taking the properties or them going through the probate process because the parents absolutely don't want some kid who didn't get up at 5:30am every morning to be rewarded for being lazy. It's best to teach them the value of a dollar even though that will actually be worth 0.000001% of what a dollar was worth in 1933.
Gen Z not learning to drive is an interesting phenomenon that I have witnessed many times. It's very strange to me but not only are less kids coming up through the ranks a lot of people are self deporting or turning themselves in for deportation so I agree that will have an effect on the car market.
I have observed some of these new car lots and it will almost all be pickup trucks.
The American automakers will almost for sure go back to a zero bid once things tighten up more. The EV mandate expires and the negotiated rates crank further up. They will be trying to figure out how they can run 92% of the plant with part time temp workers and sell a truck for $136K. The numbers won't work so we will have to bail them out again.
