It is extremely confusing to people for sure. Even Bitcoin addresses and all that is really confusing to people. I remember in 2013 I heard Andreas Antanopolis talking and he said the whole thing of having these alpha numeric wallet addresses and QR codes would go away.....etc. That was true and we have human readable addresses on STEEM, EOS but even that is confusing to people to get accounts....etc and even with the money backing EOS at the moment it isn't able to to catch up to the market caps of Ethereum and Bitcoin for the time being. It is perplexing for sure.
