I have been experimenting using Zerene Stacker to create multiple stacks from the same original stack, and blend them together. Here, I first staked the complete set of 75 shots to pull the focus from the centre of the flower only. I then created a second stake of the first 40 shots, which gave a more pleasing out of focus background bokeh, and merged the two together, all in the Zerene Stacker application.
I use Aurora Hdr to give some punch to the colours and add some texture to the stacked image.
Finally, I use Capture One to do any healing adjustments and spot removal. It's also really good for separating colours that are very similar shades, here, in the main image, I tried to separate the yellow/greens making them more so, away from the orange colours.
