Wendy’s

Hi friends,

I ate at Wendy’s recently and have always enjoyed it a lot. Some people give them a hard time about the square burger patties but I think it is all good on that front.

I took the liberty to look into their ownership and finances as I was not sure who exactly owned the company. Turns out, Wendy’s and Arby’s are owned by the company. Wendy’s is the third largest burger chain, and here are their revenues:

While I like the food, there is a lot of competition in the space and it’s a tough industry with rising food costs, rising wage costs, etc. so I am not really adding restraints to my portfolio at the moment.
