I added a new security to my holdings today - ViaSat, Inc, ticker VSAT:
This is a satellite based communication products and services company. I do think cable and broadband internet is going the way of cable-tv, and that satellite connectivity will be the wave of the future, so that is what I am aiming for in this buy. There is a lot of room for growth in hard to wire locations, not to mention aviation and offshore vessel options. They also do governmental contract work, so technology services are likely to see defense spending preferences over physical materials like trucks, tanks, boats and airplanes.
The fundamentals are nothing to get too excited about, but I think the value is there as the market cap is a little over 1 times sales, with growing top line revenues. Also, it is a small cap company and there appears to be room for growth, expansion or buyout.
Hopefully will be a multi-bagger a few years from now.
