I took a vacation day from work today :)
The family and I went to Knott’s Berry Farm, an amusement park here in Southern California. It was a beautiful day out - probably in the low 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which was just perfect.
The park was pretty empty, which was not unexpected for a mid week while school is in session. We did all the kids favorite rides, and I jumped on a few rides as well... here is one:
One highlight was I played a basketball shoot around game, and won a Clippers basketball... check it out:
The game is 3 stations with 4 balls each behind the three point line. 2 of the stations are in the corners of the court, and one is straight away. You then have 40 seconds to shoot all 4 balls and then run to the next station. I made 4 of 12 shots in the 40 seconds to win - not an amazing percentage behind the arc, but apparently enough to win!
It was a great vacation day... back to work tomorrow though!
